Jim Tribolet founded Chicago In Shape in 1993 out of the desire to share his passion for helping others commit to a healthy, rewarding lifestyle. He realized that many people feel more comfortable and motivated working one-on-one in a smaller studio rather than a gym environment. Since then, Jim has helped a wide variety of individuals achieve their personal best by offering the tools, training and motivation to lose weight, build muscle, tone up, gain flexibility, increase endurance, burn fat, alleviate pain, reduce stress and shape their body.
How Does It Work?
Jim uses an eclectic approach, drawing from a wide variety of tools, strategies, and training techniques to ensure that your program is tailored to your needs, which may evolve as you become more fit! Sessions incorporate strength training, stretching, and cardio appropriate for your goals and fitness level. There are no gimmicks, just solid exercise science, proven strategies, and top-quality equipment selected for effectiveness, variety, and safety. Tools we might choose from each session include kettlebells and dumbbells; TRX® Suspension Training; Bosu® balance trainer; UltraSlide®; exercise bike, treadmill; and others. Also, Jim suggests exercises that you can easily do at home between sessions. That's how we get it done!
